The 4th annual Ladies Driving Challenge at Farnborough International Venue and Events (FIVE), the site of the Farnborough International Airshow, proved to be another highly successful event with over 400 contestants and spectators from Hampshire and the surrounding counties.

BBC South Today visited the Farnborough International site on Wednesday in advance of the Ladies’ Driving Challenge which is to be held here on Sunday 12th October 2008. Weather presenter Georgie Palmer experienced the full potential of the expansive site when cleared of the traditional Airshow halls driving two fire engines, a bus and an articulated lorry during her day at Farnborough.
